Hello,

I have the following problem when I update the bios for my pc, the bios update goes on but when the pc need to be restarted and the following comes up on the screen flashing block but when it get to 81% it get stuck and sit at 81% then after a few mins the update carry on.

 

The other problem with the bios update it when it comes to restarting my pc, the pc will shutt down but have to wait for about 2 to 3 mins for the pc to boot up, and when waiting it is like the pc have shutt down.

 

Any help would be great.

Let's try a Bios Recovery and that might help

 

  1. Turn off the computer, and then connect the power cord.

  2. Press and hold the Windows key  and the B key at the same time, and then press and hold the power button for 2 to 3 seconds.

  3. Release the Power button but continue pressing the Windows and B keys. You might hear a series of beeps.

    The HP BIOS Update screen displays and the recovery begins automatically. Follow any on-screen prompts to continue the startup to complete the recovery.
