Hello, my NVMe drive died, and I am trying to install Windows 11 on the new drive. The installation stops at the beginning due to a missing driver. I googled and realized it is most likely the RAID NVMe driver. Unfortunately, I cannot find this driver on the download page for my laptop.

@ondracch,

You don't need a RAID driver. RAID requires at least two drives. You are just trying to install Windows on a new drive.

An Intel RST driver is not a right one either, as your notebook has an AMD Ryzen processor.

Many folks reported that they couldn't install Windows due to a missing storage driver in notebooks with Ryzen processors, even though the Windows installer has native SATA/NVMe storage drivers.

You can use HP Cloud Recovery Client to create a recovery usb drive if your model came with Windows factory-installed. The recovery usb drive will install a factory image on a new drive.

Click the link below for how to use the recovery client software.
