Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hard drive failed on my laptop. I've replaced it, have a disk with win10 iso but having trouble booting to the internal cd-rom to reinstall. In boot options under multiboot the cd-rom is listed but under legacy boot options it's not. Am I missing something or is it just not possible to boot cd-rom to reinstall?

Hi:

You should be able to boot from the multi-boot DVD.

You really want to install W10 from one of the EFI boot sources so you can enable secure boot afterwards.

You can also get an 8 GB USB flash drive and use the media creation tool to create a bootable flash drive and install the latest build of W10.

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
