Hello, I've been attempting to reduce my maximum processor state via the Power Options tab. I have two choices: "On battery" and "Plugged In." The issue is that my battery is currently unavailable for me to use. I'd like to learn how to lower my maximum processor state when there's no battery. Thank you in advance.

Hi:
You would change the processor power management setting in the plugged-in option to the value you want.

If you do not have the processor management setting showing up in the power options menu, watch this video...
