we would have no way of knowing because HP keeps no records of Windows product keys.

 

However, if you download and run this utility, it will retrieve your key from the PC:  Showkeyplus - Win10 Forums

Hi, @SD2211 

 

It depends on what model HP 2209TU model notebook you have.

 

This one would have the W8 product key in the BIOS.

 

HP 2000-2209TU Notebook PC Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

 

This one came with FreeDOS, and there would be no Windows product key supplied.
