Sorry, I did not remember that Vista-era PCs did not embed the keys into the firmware or BIOS.  And yes, as @Paul_Tikkanen already noted, there should be a sticker on the PC that has the product key printed on it -- for Vista.

Hi, @Marshawn 

 

You will not find any Windows product key in the BIOS of your HP 6930p notebook.

 

HP PartSurfer

 

They came with either Windows Vista or Windows 7, and the product key is on the COA sticker on the bottom of the notebook under the business card holder.

 

I know because I have the same model notebook.
