After turning on 'legacy boot' and turning off 'secure boot' and running through the factory reset option completely, an error message offers to 'save log' 'details' or 'retry'.
I've saved the 'HP_SSRD_LOG' file in case that will help.

Hi:
There is only one thing I can think of that you can try.
That is to set the date in the BIOS to the PC's 'Born on' date. That has occasionally worked for some forum members.
It has something to do with any software with a 30-day trial license, which would have expired by today's date.
If that doesn't work, you can always reinstall W10 for free by making a bootable installation media with the Media creation tool from the link below.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

I reset the born on date. It didn't seem to work. Do I need to restart the installation process from the beginning? I also ordered a USB stick large enough to reinstall windows 10 just in case the time adjustment doesn't work. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions
