Good morning to everyone.
I'm having problem with the installation of "Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G Modem" board on my HP Zbook Firefly 15.6 G8.
I've mounted the module and installed the Driver from the HP website (1.0.0.46 Rev.A). After the installation, the modem started to work connecting to the 4G/5G network but, after 5 minutes, a firmware update's popup showed up. It tried to install the firmware but it failed (don't know why). Once I rebooted the PC the board has not been recognised anymore. I tried to re-install the driver from HP, but nothing has changed.
On the Read-me.txt in the driver folder I noticed that there are istruction about the installation:
// Procedure
1. Install PCIe device with MHI driver(MhiHost.inf) (set driver search path \MHI)
2. Replace MHI child node to UDE driver(qcude.inf) (\UDE)
3. Update all Unknown UDE Client device with QUD driver (\QUD_GNSS)
I could do the first step and on the device manager the module is showing in the "system devices" group and not in "network cards" group. To be honest the remaining steps for me are unknown.
Is there someone can help me?
Thank you very much
