Hello just wanted to know if I have to worry. Gave someone my PC to fix it but I don't know if it's still the same hard disk drive. Can a HP have a Toshiba HDD

Hi:

 

Yes, HP uses a variety of different brand hard drives.

 

It depends on what drives they have on hand at the time the PC was manufactured.

 

They use Toshiba, Seagate, Western Digital, Hitachi, Samsung to name a few off the top of my head.
