Is there a power setting that allows my computer to not turn on unless I hit the power button on my HP Laptop 15? I would like to be able to lift the lid on my laptop and not have it power up.
BTW, unrelated, but when I tried "Esc+fn" to find my serial number, nothing happens. And my serial number doesn't appear to be listed in my settings ("System">"About")

That option is from Windows, not from HP machine itself. Please try

This doesn't specifically address my question, though, right? Yes, we know how to do the settings for when you close the lid, but, again, is there a way to set it so that the computer does not turn on when I LIFT the lid?
