Product: Chromebook 11 G4
Operating System: Chrome OS

I am a certified repair technician and in the HP partner program. I am trying to replace the motherboard on a customers Chromebook. I have a new motherboard that boots just fine into the OS but I need to re-shim so I can set the correct SN in software. It is not allowing me to boot from USB so i figured it was locked but I can't log in as chronos to enable dev USB boot. Any assistance would be greatly apreciated.

SOLVED. I found out that my shim tool was corrupt. When I created a new one it worked fine.

Did you download the shim by the link shown in GCSN?

 

We are not able to log in on this ftp server, or no files are vissible in the Rma shim directory when logged in
