I just replaced the big battery because the computer diagnostic says the internal primary battery is low. But it did not solve the problem. The new diagnostic saying the bios is invalid. when the computer was working before, I have to reset clock, I guess may be the cmos battery or called RTC battery failed. I want to replace the RTC battery but this laptop has the battery within a module. I can't replace it easily. I have to remove the whop module but do not know its part number or model number.
My hp model number is 13-a113CL. I am looking for answer from people here
1. Is the problem from cmos battery( I could not get window)?
2 if yes what part number or model number of this cmos battery module.
3. when I remove the model can I replace the battery only? There is some wire to weld?
Thanks a lot,

Dear Banhien,
With your help I repaired my laptop, HP Pavilion x360. But I do not understand you said that my computer has no RTC battery. In the battery module, there said a 5 v battery. However, I used the new large battery to get the computer window yesterday. It seems the only problem is the primary battery. I deliberately turned off my computer, disconnected the AC adapter input power. When I turned on the computer after several hours, the clock updated automatically. That means the RTC battery if there is one, is a good one. The only problem is the primary battery. I bought it from Amazon cost only $30. Microcenter, a local store to sell and repair computers asked $155 and no guaranty to solve the whole problem, that the motherboard may need replaced too.
What I did is
1. Replace the primary battery
2. Turn off computer and hold window and B keys at the same time.
3. Turn on computer by holding the switch no more than 3 seconds. Press window and B key during this period.
4. Continue to hold window key and B letter key after release the ON button.
5. A repair/diagnostic window appeared, I selected refresh my window. After about 40 min, the window came back and I logged in.
6. I got my window and all files
7 but my Microsoft Office software is gone!!! I do not have the 25 character product key number so I lost this application.
8. I bought this Office from my company before so I do not have the key number I can not restore Microsoft Office. All my office document I could not open.
9. I searched ebay that I could buy the microsoft office key with a link to install, the cost is very low, less than $40. Is this key usable, legal?
Thanks,

For Microsoft Office, probably you bought it cheap under HUP (I think this is for Home User Program) and you should have a key, please check with your employer or your old emails. I don't know other source.

Thank you very much for your reply! Unfortunately I retired the company I worked is sold. I could not find any administrator to ask. True I just paid $10 and install it in my two HP, desktop and laptop. I didn't know the Microsoft Office would be gone. I think that I have to buy a new one for my laptop because my laptop works again!
Thanks!
