I have upgraded to Windows 11 and I am suddenly having issues with drivers for the GPU. I have reverted to Windows 10 because I thought it would solve the issue. NVIDIA RTX 3070 Mobile Drivers

"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported a problem: Error Code 43"

I have tried various methods to try get the drivers working, following a couple reddit posts and YouTube videos. Here are some sources I have used, top to bottom being most useful;

These links will give a better and quicker insight on what I have tried instead of me explaining the full story.

I am thinking that it is linked to a hardware issue, my RAM has also recently only shown 8gb out of the 16gb (2x8) and I believe only one of the slots are working.

I gave it a good clean inside and reapply of thermal paste on GPU and CPU.

I had also reverted the bios to oldest as possible because I had thought the newer one had faulted the drivers, but no.

I tried a different operating system on Linux (POP OS): Known for good GPU and CPU driver capability. Gave it a benchmark test and the GPU refuses to be active.

According to the first link, it seems to be a CPU issue where it may has shot PCIe Lanes - According to first link, I don't know if this applies to laptops. In short, I believe the CPU needs to be replaced.

If I send it over to HP to get it fixed, can they fix it and how much will it cost?

Any reply would be heavily appreciated.

Cheers
