Hello,
i want to upgrade RAM on my HP Pavilion 14-ce0850no. It has only 4gb of RAM and i want to get more to get machine works faster. Unfortunately have no idea, what kind of RAM should i use. Originally machine has HPI Memory 4GB GNRC-
SODIMM 2400MHz 1.2v
DDR4.
Should it be same only with higher gb or? What’s the maximum i can go up on it? Thanks for answers

Hi:
Your notebook has one memory slot, and the slot can support a max of 1 x 16 GB of DDR4 memory.
So, you would have to remove the 4 GB memory chip and replace it with a 16 GB memory chip.
You can install DDR4-2400 memory up to DDR4-3200 memory, but the memory will only run at 2400 MHz, which is the fastest speed your notebook's processor can run the memory at.
See chapter 1 of the service manual for the memory upgrade information...
This would be a compatible 16 GB memory chip for your notebook.
