When I tried to reset (fully by removing all files), It shows that There is problem in resetting, No changes made. Please help.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

 

  • The exact model of your HP device.
  • The version of Windows you’re currently running.
  • Any error codes or specific messages that appeared during the reset attempt.

In the meantime, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check for Corrupted System Files – Open Command Prompt as administrator and run: sfc /scannow ,This will scan and repair corrupted files that may block the reset.
  2. Use HP Recovery Manager – If available on your device, try initiating the reset through HP Recovery Manager instead of Windows Settings.
  3. Boot into Advanced Startup – Restart your PC and press F11 (or Shift + Restart) to access recovery options. From there, try the reset again.
  4. Free Up Disk Space – Ensure there’s enough free space on your hard drive, as insufficient space can cause reset failures.

If these steps don’t help, we may need to explore creating a HP Cloud recovery USB .
