Below is the link to the latest BIOS update for the 6715b.

It was only written to be run in XP or Vista.

After installing this BIOS version onto the system, prior BIOS versions cannot be installed onto the system.

Hi Paul, you are my bios files provider hahahahaha!! i try to download the bios update for the PC All In One Compaq CQ1-1407LA, but the hp support doesn't have it.  ¿Could you help me to get this file please?

Hi:

According to the support page for that model, HP never released any BIOS updates for it.

So, none are available.  I checked under the W7 and W8 driver sections.

It's the same thing with my search, most of old models don't have official support from HP.  I found a bios update file from another link, but i'm not sure that works.   Here is the link  https://es.driverscollection.com/
