I have bought the HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-cd0055TX recently and when I was charging I didn't see any kind of software that does power management (Like controlling the battery charging). I have an other laptop which lets me stop charging at 60% and then it uses AC power directly.

1. Is there a similar provision in HP Pavilion x360 14 cd0055tx where I can limit battery charging and use AC power for continuous use?

2. Is there an inbuilt provision in my HP laptop wherein after reaching 100% it stops charging the battery and switches to AC power supply?

PS: I use my laptop continuously for more than 8 hours, so I need to keep it plugged in. Also, I do play some light games and the laptop needs AC power plugged in and I dont want to spoil my battery overcharging it.

Your laptop has builtin circuitry that stops supply of power to battery when it is fully charged. I use my laptop almost exclusively on power for several hours a day.

Thanks for the reply  but is there any kind of software or inbuilt feature which lets you stop battery charging at 60% or any another such percentage, so that I dont need to charge it always up to 100 percentage.

None that I am aware of. I have used many HP laptops over the years and haven't seen anything like that.
