Thanks sooo kindly for finding the coprocessor chipset, yet I’m not out of the shadows yet. I still need graphics and some unknown devices’ drivers. The QuickLaunch buttons seem to work, and the touchpad does. I have no idea what the unknown devices are.

A manual update of the video driver, using the same package as the coprocessor, claimed the generic MS driver is more up to date, and refuse to update. :((

I have a Pavilion dv9715nr laptop.

Hugely appreciative of your help, Paul.

I tried that same package for the coprocessor, and it claimed the generic Windows version was better, during a manual update.I tried that same package for the coprocessor, and it claimed the generic Windows version was better, during a manual update.

UPDATE: SOLVED THE GRAPHICS DRIVER MISSING, after locating another thread of yours, addressing this same issue.

YET I'M STILL STUMPED at what these missing drivers are, of these unknown devices, under OTHER DEVICES:

Super appreciating the assistance here.

You're very welcome.

HP no longer has the file you need on their FTP website.

Fortunately, I saved it years ago for some reason, so I have zipped it up and attached it below.

Download, unzip and run the file, and you should be good to go.
