Hi all,

I tried to start my laptop this morning and it appeared to crash. When I attempted to restart, it wouldn't get beyond the blue screen (in picture) whether I tried safe mode, repair mode, restoring to earlier configuration, and has remained this way since 6am. ☹

Any suggestions?

Thank you for posting in the HP Support Community.

 

Try testing your hardware using the BIOS/UEFI F2 options in order to rule out any potential hardware problems. Perform Quick/Fast diagnostics , or this is not available, then RAM/HDD tests -> here are details how to do it -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JXUp43ahHA
