Hi,

 

I've changed my hard drive to SSD and the factory fitted hard drive is fixed in an external drive case.

I was under impression that when I'll install Window 8.1, my key will be automatically detected from BIOS.

 

But it is not detecting. Let me know how to I install OS on my new SSD drive.

Hi:

 

Yes, that is the way it should work.

 

You need to make sure that you download the correct W8.1 ISO file.

 

You may need the W8.1 single language ISO file, not the plain one.
