HP g7 Pavilion
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need to recover a folder from my previous Windows 7 before upgrading to Windows 10 Education. Before I upgraded, I sent a folder to Google Drive. But now I can only find the folder on Google Driver and all of the contents in that folder are missing and I can't find it on my HP g7 Pavilion laptop. The folder contained all of my school work. Now, I'm a Grad. Student and need my research material in that folder to graduate. Please help

Take a look in the Windows.old folder of the C: partition.

Hello Erico,

I already looked there, could not find it. Plus when I upgraded from Windows 7 Home, I first went to Windows 10 Home, then I upgraded to Window 10 Education. And now I'm Windows 10 Education version 1809 Insider Preview Build 18272.rs_prerelease. 181026-1425. So when you are referring to Windows.old folder it will only take me back to Windows 10 Home, not Windows 7. But I do have a Windows 10 Repair Disc. Would it be some chance it's on there?

Respectfully,

What I was referring to was inside the Windows.old folder. That is where to look.

Access the Windows.old folder in Windows Explorer and look for your personal files under C:\Windows.old\Users\"your_username".

No it wouldn't be in a repair disc.
