HP Elite Book 830 GB. I last used my laptop 3 weeks ago as I was away travelling. 3 weeks ago it worked perfectly.
When I try to startup my laptop now, I get the following message.
HP Sure Recover: Recover after Boot Failure is enabled but no hard drive boot option is enabled in the UEFI boot order.
Be sure that a UEFI boot drive is properly installed and enabled in the UEFI boot order.
I did go to BIOS and applied both custom and factory default settings, both did not work.
I did tests and in the HP PC Hardwar Diagnostics UEFI I have a pass on most test (memory, power, system board), but did get the below message on the storage test:
No hard drive installed. Please check that the power and data cables are connected properly (which they are)
I cannot use this PC to contact you or do upgrades and are using another PC to communicate with you.
I do not know how to proceed to recover my laptop. Could you please help me?
