Hi @MAHSHA11,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP laptop's Windows operating system has crashed and you need to recover data from the hard drive, you can try the following steps.
- Boot the laptop from a bootable USB or CD/DVD with a recovery tool or operating system. You can create a bootable USB using a tool like Rufus, or use a CD/DVD with a recovery tool or operating system.
- Once you have booted from the USB or CD/DVD, you should be able to access the hard drive and its contents. You can then copy the data you want to recover to an external hard drive, USB drive, or cloud storage.
- If you cannot access the hard drive or its contents, you may need to use a data recovery software. There are many free and paid options available online, such as Recuva, EaseUS Data Recovery, and Stellar Data Recovery. These tools can scan the hard drive for lost or deleted files and help you recover them.
- After you have recovered your data, you can try to repair or reinstall the Windows operating system on your laptop. You can do this by using the built-in Windows Recovery options, or by creating a bootable USB or CD/DVD with a Windows installation media.
Note: If your hard drive has physical damage, such as a broken head or platter, data recovery may not be possible using software tools.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
