Hard disk failed and laptop is not starting. But I have important files in it. I want to recover all the data. Please suggest me how to recover the data from my failed hard disk

Given the damage is not too big, you can put old HDD to a 2.5" HDD USB enclosure and mount/connect it to other machine to copy files.
If the damage was big, you may need to recover files using professional services. This is not cheap.
Regards.

Hi,
Remove the hard disk from the laptop and connect it to another system with the help of USB cable. Check if the drive gets recognized by another system if it is available then first take the backup from the hard drive.

The other responders are right -- in that you would have to remove the drive from your PC and connect it to another in order to recover any data.
And ... commercial data recovery is VERY expensive -- as I had a 3TB Seagate fail on me after a few months of use, checked this out online, and the services wanted $1000 USD (and more!) to do this.
If you can not simply find the files and folders you need after connecting the drive, then you need to do the following:
1) Download and install this utility on a working PC http://www.majorgeeks.com/news/story/recover_data_in_3_steps_with_minitool_power_data_recovery_free_...
2) Run the data recovery utility to see what can be retrieved from the old drive.
If that tool does not find what you need, an alternative is Recuva http://www.piriform.com/recuva
And, if that does not work well, the best tool out there is this one, but only the trial version is free http://www.file-recovery.com/
