HP 17-g121wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Purchased recovery media from HP for an HP 17-g121wm laptop the other day, upon using the media it gets about half way installed on the HDD and gives an error that the recovery attempt has failed. when I click into the details all it says is there might be an unexpected reboot during windows startup

the process will cause CTO panic

because the image might not be normal now........

I cannot get the install process to continue after this point not sure what's going on with it, anyone have any suggestions?

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer if the HP recovery media didn't work, would be to use the Media creation tool on another Windows PC running W7 64 bit or newer to create W10 64 bit installation media and clean install W10.

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
