Hello. i need recovery disc of my laptop HP PAVILION DV6 2174TX 32 bit, but now extended from 32 bit 64 bit. Thanks

HP typically does not offer recovery media for upgraded operating systems.

1. Check for Recovery Partition

• Your laptop may still have a recovery partition that allows you to restore the original 32-bit OS.
• To access it, restart the laptop and press F11 repeatedly during boot.
• This will launch HP Recovery Manager, which can restore the system to factory settings.

2. Create Custom Recovery Media for 64-bit

• Since you've upgraded to 64-bit, you can create your own recovery media using:
  • A clean installation of Windows 64-bit (matching your license).
  • HP drivers and utilities downloaded from the HP Software & Driver Downloads page.
• This won’t be an official HP recovery disc, but it will restore your current 64-bit setup.

3. Use HP USB Recovery Flash Disk Utility (if applicable)

• Some users have used the HP USB Recovery Flash Disk Utility to copy the recovery partition to a USB drive for restoration.
