I have an old HP Stream 14-ax027cl and have run into so man problems. First off, my laptop would start up with a black screen with "Boot Device Not Found. Please install an operating system on your hard disk. Hard Disk (3F0)." Did enough research and went through Virtual Assistant HP PCdware Diagnostis UEFI. Only options there were Memory Test, Storage Tests and Language, nothing else. Hit a road block so I went ahead and spent the $70 to get a recovery media from HP. Well, I followed all the steps and it's still coming up with an error message. "The computer is not supported by the System Recovery Media. You will not be able to continue to recover this system with these Media. Error: 0100 82BD 8423/ 0122-0-1." Did I not order the right one, since my laptop won't pull up on HP and I could be entering the wrong operating system or is my laptop beyond repair?

Hi:
See if this works...
Using another Windows PC, make a bootable W10 installation flash drive using the Media creation tool at the link below.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
When you get to the screen that asks 'Where do you want to install Windows,' delete every partition on the hard drive, leaving just one partition of unallocated space.
Click Next, and W10 should install.
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
If W10 doesn't install using that method, then most likely the notebook is beyond repair.
