I'm trying to do a system restore for the first time on HP Pavilion Power - 15-cb007nl ... I've done this procedure on many other PCs, but here something goes wrong during the restore.
I start normally the system recovery, I don't do any backup and the process start. The first part is done with a small amount of time and then the system ask to continue telling that many reboots will be done.
The system reboot again and the real installation start, it reboots many times and during the second part of recovery I saw even the administrator login screen, the administrator desktop, the installation process of driver and utilities using the cmd... all seems to go well, but before the end I get and "incomprete recovery" message, due to a generic error and the recovery procedure stops.
At this point I've created the SaveLog, but checking inside the archive I don't find any of useful to resolve my problem...
I did the full procedure more than 5 times, always with the same result.
Here I post the extract of what I found as failed/wrong inside the files contained in the SaveLog archive... it seems that something goes wrong during the configuration of the EFI, but if I go to check after the recovery process is stopped, I don't find any partition with EFI, but only the primary and the recovery,

I've tryed the resore many times, even changing setup of Bios and testing Legacy bios or disabling/enabling Secure boot, but without any change in the end of procedure, and always it fails.
Someone is able to help me to resolve this issue? I've never touched the recovery partition, so it should works and have all required files.
If no one is able to tell me something about my system error, could I ask if someone is able to explain what the failed command do and if it's possible to disable this check going to change the script that launch it in the recovery partition?
Knowing what is happening for me is really important, so I can try to find a workaround if the command continue to fail.
I hope that some really good technicians read this post, becuase I've not found documentation and I've only found another person with a similar problem, but his post remained without any useful reply.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Sebastiano

Hi, Sebastiano:
I can't help you with bypassing any of the script to correct the errors, but sometimes there is trial software such as McAfee that has a 30-day period of use and since you are restoring the PC from a much later time, the recovery errors out.
The only suggestion I can offer would be to set the date in the BIOS to the PC's 'Born on' date, run the recovery again and see if that works.
The other option would be to use the HP cloud recovery tool to reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support
You can download the software from the Microsoft Store.
HP Cloud Recovery Tool - Microsoft Store Apps
Since you have to use the utility on another PC, so you will need to enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.
Your PC's product number is: 2GG44EA#ABZ
If all else fails, you can always clean install W10 for free by making a bootable USB installation flash drive with the Media creation tool from the link below.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

I recommend that you run the recovery or install Windows in UEFI mode which is to boot the installation media from the UEFI boot source, not the legacy one.
