My laptop is throwing stop code 0x000021a i have tried to do reboot from system recovery screen and still will not work can i use another computer to download a recovery file to a usb flash drive and use it to reboot my laptop. where can i find the file at

Hi:

 

Yes, you can use the HP cloud recovery tool on another PC running W7 64 bit or newer and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

While you are making the recovery media, I recommend you run the hard drive diagnostics test (F2) and confirm that the hard drive does not have a problem.
