I decided to reformat my computer. My daughter had been using it and brought it back to me. When I looked at the files a lot was missing and I think she deleted a lot of stuff. So I go through the steps and each time get the same exact error.
error checking looking for *.log in [c:\system.sav\logs\bb].
I have followed all the steps from the virtual assistant. Read tons of questions and answers on the community home and I still cannot get past this part.
I am in the process of doing the system extensive test (2 hours)
Is there a way to get past this or did I just wipe out my whole computer and I might as well give up and throw it away?

Hi:
You can use the HP cloud recovery tool and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility.
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support
Since you have to use the utility on another PC, you will need to enter your PC's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.
Your PC's product number is: 1UH03UA#ABL
