After replacing the SSD, I need a recovery media to reinstall Windows from scratch. How and where can I acquire installations media?

You can use HP Cloud Recovery Tool to create a bootable recovery usb drive that reinstalls Windows, drivers and HP software and apps. You need to download the recovery tool from the Microsoft Store and need a 32 GB usb drive to hold the recovery media. Click the link below for more info.

If you need to use another PC to run the recovery tool, you'll be prompted to enter your model's product number which is found on the back cover of your laptop.
