HP Spectre x360 Laptop - 15-eb0043dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Spectre laptop.  Upon a windows update, an error happened and the computer would no longer start up, unable to enter BIOS, etc.  I knew it would probably need Windows reinstalled so I took it in to have them take off my data and reinstall Windows on the drive (I was in the middle of super important project and no backup was done yet and some of the files are irreplaceable).  They let me know that when they tried to recover the data it was not able to be seen, so they put in a new drive and I have the original drive in hand.  I had someone else I know check out the drive to see if they could retrieve the data and he let me know that it is an Intel Optane drive and designed differently so you can't just plug it in and get the files off.   I connected the drive in an enclosure to my laptop hoping that it might let me see the files from the original device.  It does not show up in File explore.  I can see the drive under Disk Management, but the status is "Healthy (GPT Protective Partition) and it does not allow me to open it up to do anything with it or see the files.

What are options to retrieve the very important data from this drive?

Angela
