HP Pavilion - 15-cd015na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I inherited this laptop from my sister-in-law. Had to reinstall the OS as it was badly corrupted and was hoping to use the recovery partition but, alas, this was devoid of any files.

The OS (Windows 10) is now back and updated with the latest updates. Currently, I am creating a USB recovery drive but it occurred to me that I should be able to use the partition on the installed HDD.

I'm well aware of the risks associated with having 2 partitions on the same HDD should the actual disc breaks, but wondered how I might achieve this anyway?
