My pc is running very slow, so I did a file clean up to free space. This worked great for computer files, but the recovery D file is still full (see images). It looks like the fix is reverting the computer to factory settings which will wipe the computer. Question: Is there a way to clean up the recovery file without having to wipe the computer?

First off, you do not want to mess with the Recovery partition in an way -- doing so will corrupt it and render it useless!
Second, it is supposed to be nearly full, as it contains a compressed Windows image and drivers needed to do the factory reset on your PC.
Third, if you are writing files to that partition, then you need to check and change your download options to stop doing that. You should be writing files to your OS partition, not the Recovery partition.
