my computer recently stopped loading the os and I decided to create a recovery drive and try that out so I did and this came up, I was wondering if there is some way I can use the command console on the left to fix it, and yes I’ve tried pressing all the buttons on the white screen

I found a fix, while the start up is happening repeatedly press ESC, then once the bios selection screen comes up press F11 or the system recovery button, then press reset computer, ( this will delete apps and settings ) proceed to go through the steps only resetting the windows drive once done the computer will greet you with cortana with the set up from when you first bought your computer and bam your computer is now fixed

Hi:

You may want to run the hard drive test and check that the hard drive is good.

When the OS quits loading and the recovery media indicates that it can't find the drive specified, that is not a good sign.

If the drive tests good, see if you can clean install W10.

Make a bootable USB installation flash drive using the media creation tool at the link below.

Make the 64 bit installation media.

If that doesn't work either, then the drive is probably no good in some way.

Hi:

When you get to the part that asks 'Where do you want to install Windows, delete every partition on the hard drive, leaving just one partition of unallocated space.  Click Next, and W10 should install.

Apparently the computer only wants to boot into the image seen above

Create your own help ticket for that instead of invading someone else’s with a topic that is irrelevant
