I was trying to reset and install windows 

When it was installing windows, my laptop got stuck at 88% and it eventually switched on 

Now it says my device or pc needs to be repaired 

Its showing error code:0x0000225

See if this works for you...

 

Your PC should be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool, which by using another Windows PC with W7 64 bit or newer and a 32 GB USB flash drive, you can make a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.
