Hello,

I need help reinstalling Windows on a HP ENVY x360 notebook with Intel Optane 13GB SSD and a SATA 1TB HDD.

It used to boot from the 13GB SSD and Windows was installed in the HDD.

At the moment, I have 'cleaned' both drives using Diskpart.

I need to know how to prepare the SSD for the re-installation.

Please Help!

Hi:

 

The Intel Optane memory is a flash storage cache used to accelerate the hard drive.

 

You install Windows on the 2.5" mechanical hard drive and then follow the guidance at the link below for how to enable the Intel Optane memory using the Intel Rapid Storage Technology software and driver.
