I want to re install windows 8 by using the oem product key. I am using HP m4-1003TX model. After making bootable pendrive and booting through pendrive the following message appears - "the product key entered does not match any of the windows image available for installation".

Your laptop came with Windows 8 64bit Core edition
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03743644
It doesn't matter what you're using now.
The Windows 8 product key is embedded in the BIOS chip. B . I have installed Windows 8.1 Update in few of my Windows 8 laptops using the tutorial.
So the reason the above method didn't work, means either you didn't follow it properly or your BIOS key is corrupted.
I suggest you follow the tutorial promptly. Download the media creation tool & subsequently the appropriate edition of Windows 8.1 ISO according to the Windows 8 edition installed in your laptop. For eg. Windows 8.1 64bit Core Single Language (SL) edition.
Disable Secure boot & enable Legacy in BIOS:

Make bootable USB of the downloaded ISO and Clean install the OS by booting from it.

Hi,
No, HP won't supply product key for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 pre-installed computers. Again, where do you get it ?
Regards.

The windows, that HP gave has been removed from my latop. And now I want to reinstall windows 8. By reading various threads I come to know that I should run setup of windows and it will automatically read product key from BIOS, provided by HP but it throws out the following error -
"the product key entered does not match any of the windows images available for installation"
I dont want any product key from HP, I just want to reuse the key provided by hp when I bought my laptop and I dont have any recovey media

Hi,
The key is in the BIOS of your machine, please use the following tool to get it:
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
When run this tool, it produces a report, scroll down to Software Management section. Windows 8 or 8.1 product key is in there.

The problem is that I am not getting any screen to enter any product key, after starting setup it throws out following message - "the product key entered does not match any of the windows imaged available for installation".
It is reading key automatically.

The question is from where did you get the Windows 8 installation media?
If you've got it from Microsoft website, it'll not work in OEM machines. It is strictly a retail ISO file.
You can try CLEAN install of Windows 8.1 Update in your Windows 8 laptop by following Option 1 in this tutorial:
http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/18309-windows-8-windows-8-1-iso-download-create.html
The Windows 8.1 Update would automatically get activated on installation.
Note: Confirm that your support page provides all the necessary drivers for Windows 8.1 before downloading ISO.
