Hello everyone, my problem is: I installed on notebook HP 15-bw661ur Linux Mint OS, and deleted pre-installed Windows 10 (So, this is not dual boot, only Mint). But now, I need to get back to Windows 10, and there I have a very frustrating problem: when I tried to install Windows from USB flash drive, the notebook trying boot from USB, showing HP/windows logo, but then it fall into restarting loop, which ends with graphic glitches (see the picture). I already tried to change BIOS settings (Legacy disabled/enabled, Secure boot disabled/enabled), but it always ends up with same graphic glitches. I also tried to make boot loader from Mint, divide disk with NTFS and FAT32 file system partitions, it behaves similar, as from USB drive. I also installed Windows 8.1 and tried to upgrade from here, but there is an error during install, so Windows 10 cannot be installed. Mint still works fine, and I even was able to reinstall it multiple times. Default OS for this notebook was Windows 10, it's shown in BIOS. Does anyone had same problem or someone know what I should do? I would appreciate any advices. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I would try updating the BIOS of the notebook. You will need to create a bootable USB drive on a different Window notebook with the BIOS-
If you look at the link above where you can download the BIOS file, under the heading fixes is written "- Provides support for Windows 10 v1909. "
So, most likely you are installing a later version of Windows 10 and need first to update the BIOS.
Hope it helps,
David
