HP Envy 17 n101nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone ! i bought an Envy 17 n101nl (featuring an i5), which runs Windows 10.

 

I want to uninstall Windows 10 and install Windows 7 instead ; How can i do that? Is there a step-by-step procedure to follow?

 

I know there are no offical HP Windows 7 drivers for my model. Would I be able to use all of the Windows 7 x64 drivers and software from another (similar) model?  Which one?

But there is a full Windows 7 64 bit driver download page for your model:

 

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-17-n100-notebook-pc/8499288/model/8949605

 

You will need to load a special driver during Windows 7 installation otherwise usb support will drop out and you will lose keyboard input:
