Hello,
I have recently bought a Spectre Convertible. Now to my problem:
It has had several bluescreen crashes over the past weeks. The error codes I have been receveing so far are driver_power_state_failure; video_tdr_failure; dpc_watchdog_violation and system_thread_exception_not_handled.
I have researched the issues a little bit and they seem to be pointing towards an issue with the (graphics?) driver...I have tried to install the newest driver for the NVIDIA MX330 which i got from their website. However when installing it I received the message "no compatible graphics-hardware found" even though the MX330 seems to be running fine.
I have also updated every other driver i could. I have disabled the hibernation and sleep settings and disconnected any hardware devices from the laptop.
Yesterday and today the bluescreens have gotten a lot more frequent and I can´t use it for more then 20 minutes without the device crashing.
I hope i have given enough information to pinpoint the problem 🙂
Best regards
Ruben
