Its specs

       https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06296484

It has 128 GB M.2 SSD which is a 2280 M.2 SATA SSD drive. You can replace it with a 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, 2TB M.2 SATA SSD drive using

                 https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-mx500-ssd
                 https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/860evo/
          Or similar from reputable vendors.

You can also use M.2 NVMe SSD drive (faster and more expensive) using

                 https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/970-evo-nvme-m2-ssd/MZ-V7E2T0BW/
                 https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-p2-ssd
            Or similar from reputable vendors.

Regards.

Thanks for the info !
Any manual about how to replace the main HD?
I already add an SSD, but at the end I need to do the same with the main HD.

Thanks

Interesting, your machine came with mechanical HDD, not 128GB M.2 SSD as from its official specs shown above. Anyway, that is much simpler.  You can use the following manual (page 37)

            http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06523509.pdf

You already have hard drive cover and connector. All you need is a new 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD with 7.2mm thickness (max) and simply swap the old one out, the new one in.

Hello Banhien,

Thanks for your help.

The page 37 of the manual shows how to ADD an SSD HD.

Following this manual I already ADD a new secondary drive some time ago, but now I have to REPLACE the main HD (C drive).
Any ideas?
Thanks

Because you altered your machine now I don't know which one is which. From your information, your machine now has  dual storage with M.2 SSD and 2.5" HDD. Where you put C: ?

If C: is on M.2 SSD, please use my very first reply and information on page 40.

If C: is on 2.5" HDD/SSD, you have to use my second reply and information on page 37.

Regards.
