Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hi,

Recently had to replace my notebook HDD and the sticker under the notebook with the Windows activation key is far too damaged from heat to be legible.

I was wondering if there is any way to get a replacement key.

Thank you to all in advance.

Les

Hi @LF_79

Welcome to the HP Support Community. Thanks for bringing this to our notice.

I see that you are facing issues with your system. Do not worry, we are here to fix it.

May I know from when are you facing this issue?

Did you make any hardware or software-related changes to it?

May I know from where did you purchase the HDD which you replaced?

Also, if you wish to reinstall the Operating System, you may use the link below: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
