I have been unable to boot after changing the CMOS battery. As I have now gathered that changing the battery resets bios to factory settings I am now trying to update bios with a recovery USB.
Frustratingly, the system cannot find the recovery flash. It seems that the system is searching for a folder on the USB with the pathway Hewlett-Packard\Bios\New, but the recovery USB created from the HP downloads page for my device creates a different set of pathways. There is a folder \Hewlett-Packard and that contains two folders 1. \BIOS which contains three more folders \New (empty), \Current (contains a file \M60_261_BIN) and \Previous (empty).
and 2. \BiosUpdate (empty).
Which, if any of these is the correct recovery folder and how do I get my PC to find it?
