There was a problem with driver of HP Laptop 15s-eq2056ua (4A7P1EA )
with FreeOS
I'm trying to install a Windows 10/11 (64 bit) from a USB flash drive.
After pressing F9 and selecting my USB flash drive as the boot device, I select the installation language and immediately after that a driver is required.
And I can't move to the next step.
I see the message "Select the driver to install"
After I choose a folder with drivers on another flash drive (a checkbox is turned on), the “AMD-RAID Bottom Device ...” is from the list of drivers
After the installation of this driver, i sight "No new devices drivers"
And again asks to choose the driver.
Please tell me where I can find the necessary driver?
(On the official HP website, there is no necessary driver on the laptop model)
(I can’t even turn off the BIOS AMD VMD because there is no necessary section)
Bios version 2.2.8.0
P.S. And I see hard disk 3F0 (I am sure that the drivers are needed for SSD)

Hi @Balabon ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like you're encountering a common issue during the Windows installation process, where the installer is unable to detect the storage controller and requests additional drivers. Here's a step-by-step guide on how you might resolve this issue:
Check HP Support Website: Start by checking the official HP support website for your laptop model. Sometimes, manufacturers provide specific drivers that may not be included in the standard Windows installation media. Enter your laptop's model number and look for storage or RAID drivers.
Identify the RAID Controller: Determine the specific RAID controller your laptop is using. It appears to be an AMD-RAID setup. You may need to identify the exact model and version of the RAID controller to download the correct drivers.
Download Drivers: Download the RAID drivers for your specific controller from the AMD website or HP support. Ensure that you download the drivers compatible with the Windows version you are installing (either Windows 10 or 11).
Extract the Drivers: Extract the downloaded driver files to a folder on another USB flash drive or a separate partition on the existing USB flash drive you're using for the Windows installation.
Load Drivers During Installation: When you reach the point in the Windows installation where it asks for additional drivers, insert the USB flash drive containing the RAID drivers. Select the folder where you extracted the drivers and choose the appropriate driver for your RAID controller.
Check BIOS/UEFI Settings: Ensure that your BIOS/UEFI settings are configured correctly. Sometimes, changing the SATA mode from RAID to AHCI or vice versa can resolve compatibility issues. However, be cautious when changing this setting, as it can affect the system's ability to boot.
Contact HP Support: If you're unable to find the required drivers on the official HP website, consider reaching out to HP support directly. They may be able to provide assistance or direct you to the correct resources.
Update BIOS/UEFI: Check if there are any BIOS/UEFI updates available for your laptop on the HP support website. Sometimes, updating the BIOS can resolve compatibility issues with newer operating systems.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.-
