I just completed the recovery process for my HP Envy.
This "PIN is no longer available due to a change in the security settings on this device. Click to set up your PIN again."
After clicking the icon, I see my email for my Microsoft account, where an email will be sent with a code.
No email. Not in my inbox, junk, or anyplace.
Now what?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @313JB,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check Email Settings and Filters:
- Make sure no filters are blocking emails from Microsoft.
- Look for emails under different tabs, such as Promotions, Updates, or Other if using services like Gmail or Outlook.
Verify Microsoft Account Information:
- Confirm that the email address shown is correct and matches the one you use for your Microsoft account.
- Ensure your Microsoft account is active and properly configured to receive emails.
Resend Verification Email:
- On the PIN reset screen, click to resend the verification email.
- Wait for a few minutes and check all email folders again.
Use Alternative Verification Methods:
- If you have set up alternative methods for account recovery, such as SMS or authentication apps, use them to recover your PIN.
- Navigate to the Microsoft Recover your account page if you have other recovery options set up.
Disable and Re-enable PIN:
- Temporarily disable the PIN login.
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
- Under PIN, click Remove.
- Restart your computer.
- Re-enable the PIN login by clicking Set up my PIN again.
I hope this helps.
