Hi @SS6058,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP account is disabled after a reset, and F11 no longer brings up the recovery/reset options. Here’s what you can do to recover access and restore your system:

Step-by-Step Recovery Options

1. Try Microsoft Account Recovery

If your Windows user account is disabled, and it was linked to a Microsoft account:

If it’s a local account, and you don’t have another admin account, you’ll need to reset Windows.

2. Use HP Cloud Recovery Tool (if F11 doesn't work)

If F11 no longer shows the recovery environment, your recovery partition may be corrupted or deleted.

You can use the HP Cloud Recovery Tool to create a bootable USB and reinstall Windows:

  1. On another working PC, download the tool: 👉 HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Support
  2. Enter your HP product ID or serial number (e.g., from the bottom of your laptop).
  3. Create a 16GB+ USB recovery drive.
  4. Insert the USB into your HP laptop and boot from it:
    • Turn off the laptop.
    • Press Esc repeatedly at startup, then F9 to select the USB drive.

3. BIOS Reset (Optional)

If the system is not booting properly:

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Press and hold Windows + B, then press and hold the Power button for 2–3 seconds.
  • Release all keys and wait for BIOS recovery.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
