The procedure is to press the Esc key repeatedly while rebooting the PC, then when you see the HP Start Menu, you select the option to do the reset.
If that does not work, it means the Recovery information has become corrupted and the built-in reset will no longer work. And, in that case, you would have to order something known as HP Recovery Media.
