My P.C. diagnostic test says that an  unexpected restart happened during an update. I tried to reset my Laptop to factory settings but it says restoration incomplete. I tried to reset it after closing audit. Now, it seems that I am stuck in a black screen and HP logo restart loop. I tried to hard reset it and I even set the boot up time to five seconds.

Hi:

 

If you  bought your notebook within the last 4 years, it may be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to make a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook--this will basically do the same thing as a factory reset.

 

You will need to create the media using another Windows PC with W7 x64 or newer on it.
