Hi @stormie5,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP laptop is stuck on "Restoration Incomplete," you can try the following steps:

Force Restart: Press and hold the power button until the laptop turns off. Wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.

Boot into Safe Mode:

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Turn it on and repeatedly press the F11 key (or Esc followed by F11).
  • Select Troubleshoot, then Advanced options, and choose Startup Settings. Select Safe Mode.

System Restore:

  • If you can access the recovery options, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > System Restore. Follow the prompts to restore to a previous state.

Repair Startup:

  • In the recovery menu, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair. This may fix the issue automatically.

Reset PC:

  • If other options fail, you may need to reset the PC. Select Troubleshoot > Reset this PC and follow the prompts. You can choose to keep your files or remove everything.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
